Daniel Niesing - President Community Partnership and Involvement We at Canadian Education Warehouse pride ourselves in our commitment to the towns of Newmarket and Aurora and we take an active role in supporting community initiatives. With the help of a strong partnership with Community Living, we employ approximately 40 adults with developmental disabilities who are essential to Canadian Education Warehouse. We ardently believe in being a socially responsible enterprise! Under the supervision of 5 skillful social
health professionals, this group of adults with developmental disabilities is working on enhancing their skills to integrate in a regular workforce and to evolve in a
sheltered environment. Based on their level of functionality, each one contributes
to the daily activities of the group. Last year over 100,000 “Welcome to
Kindergarten” kits, a program sponsored by the Learning Partnership, were
assembled in our warehouse and shipped across Canada. This unique group of individuals are looking forward to taking on various projects. There are no small or big projects for this group. Each one
contributes to the growth of their autonomy. We are very honoured to share our learning and
educational environment with them. Click on their logo (above) to learn more about Community Living - Newmarket/Aurora District. |
